At New Wine we know that additional needs are wide-ranging and we want to support those with additional needs and disabilities to enable everyone to join in with all that’s going on.
Venue Accessibility
Lifts and ramps allow step-free access around the venue. Disabled toilets are located around the convention centre and are marked on the map and venue signage.
In the Auditorium, there is designated wheelchair space located in Row A at the front of Block H, halfway up the Auditorium. If you or anyone in your group requires reserved seating, please email info@new-wine.org or call us on 020 4583 2935.
- There is step-free access to this designated seating area via a lift from the foyer up to this level (Level 6.5) and then a specific entrance into this row of the Auditorium - the lift requires one of our team to escort on your way up, but not on the way down.
- There is no step-free access from this area down to the space in front of the stage to pray for others during any times of prayer ministry, but our team will offer to pray for you or your guests in this seating area specifically.
Step-free access is available for Studio One, Hall D, and King’s Suite, via lifts along the main corridor located at the back of the foyer. Step-free access to the Royal Hall is available via the Stage Door Entrance. https://www.accessable.co.uk/harrogate-convention-centre/access-guides/harrogate-convention-centre-…
The Convention Centre offers Blue Badge parking in its underground car park, with direct lift access to the Foyer leading to the Auditorium. Otherwise, the most accessible car park is Jubilee Car Park, free for Blue Badge holders and nearer than the main HCC parking.
For more accessibility information, please visit Accessibility at HCC - Harrogate Convention Centre.
Additionally, Access Able have published guides concerning each part of the Convention Centre, and getting to and from the venue, including photos, routes and detailed descriptions of accessibility provision. To access these, please click here (https://www.accessable.co.uk/harrogate-convention-centre).
