Yes, there is a £35 non-refundable charge for every team booking. Each team place is incurring increasing costs of administration (and in many cases DBS charges) which New Wine meets from its central budget. Also included in this charge is a contribution towards food costs for team members who will receive 3 meals a day for the duration of the event, plus free hot drinks in the Team Lounge. The costs for this have increased significantly in recent years and with over 1,500 volunteers at New Wine, we need to make a minimal charge so that the necessary volunteer administration and management is possible for us organisationally.
If you are unsuccessful on team or the team you wanted to apply for is full, we can transfer your team ticket to a delegate ticket. This will require you to pay the outstanding balance minus the £35 team ticket fee. Please note, the £35 team ticket fee is non-refundable.
