Is there a cost to being on team?

Yes, there is a £35 non-refundable fee for every team ticket. Each team place incurs increasing administration costs which New Wine meets from its central budget. Included in the team fee is a contribution towards catering for team members who will receive 3 meals a day for the duration of the festival, plus free hot drinks and snacks in the Team Lounge and team t-shirts. With nearly 1,700 volunteers at the festival, we need to have a minimal charge to make this possible.

If you are unsuccessful on team or the team you wanted to apply for is full, then we'd encourage you to apply for a different, remaining team. If not, we can transfer your team ticket to a delegate ticket. This will require you to pay the outstanding balance minus the £35 team ticket fee. Please note, the £35 team ticket fee is non-refundable.
